Studying Abroad / Migration –
Make it happen with AMC Global!
Weather it has to be studying abroad or migration, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the people who do it, I have heard them say it’s the greatest and indelible experience of their life. For anyone who lands for the very first time at the airport the most appealing would be trying to find their name on the name card at arrival hall.
The world we’re living in, we have our lives occupied with the social media, hence taking selfies with the magnificent, famous and historical monuments and places of new countries, and uploading them on the social media platforms. This eagerness would know no bounds.
A little bit of advice and steps towards the new future.
THE COMPANIONSHIP
Firstly, if you want to study or migrate to your dream city/country, then you don’t need to depend on anyone else to take advantage of the amazing opportunity of going abroad, but if you have a friend with whom you have been dreaming of going abroad then consider yourself lucky! Going overseas with a friend can be very advantageous and less intimidating.
I had the strong desire to study abroad after my high school and to see more & more of the world, than just my backyard. When I first arrived at Sydney, as a wide-eyed, slightly disquiet but excited eighteen-year-old, though, it was a peculiar to what was on my mind. Fortunately, while I was worrying about unfamiliar university campus, courses and seeing new faces everywhere I turned, my childhood friend had been looking into study abroad opportunities. After convinced him to get onboard with me he applied for the same course and same uni and after the concerned duration he got his visa and he arrived and joined me the same semester.
CHOOSE YOUR DESTINATION
Choosing your dream destination is not easy especially when dozens of options are on the table of possible cities and countries, where all of these countries have such amazing experiences and future to offer. Someone who is conversant can help you narrow it down to select what you are looking for.
For example, it would be no use in studying in Geneva when that campus is geared towards business majors, or Puerto Rico when none of us speak Spanish and it’s a program requirement. As we had our whole schooling through English medium schools, we chose Australia one of the leading overseas education provider and picked Sydney as to be our destination where we pursued our Masters degree. After few years of hard work which paid off and we can now call our self’s proud Australians.
GET YOUR DOCUMENTS TOGETHER
Once we knew where we wanted to go, the next steps involved were to get the documents together. Everyone has to go through different process to gather them as per their background and profile. In my case, the first step was to get my passport, as I began to get introduced to the real world got to know the real struggle. I’m glad that passport is valid for quite a few years and then I sat for IELTS and then program application process which had multiple requirements, including submitting our requested courses abroad and choosing whether we wanted to do the program’s facilitated group flight or go solo, but once we knew we’d been accepted into the program and were reassured, the rest felt like a piece of cake. Before we knew it, everything was taken care of.
